Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of CSE Whiteboard, a collaborative whiteboard Discord Activity. By launching or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The service is operated by CSE Club – Palestine Technical University Kadoorie.
2. Eligibility
You may use CSE Whiteboard only if you are eligible to use Discord, have authority to accept these Terms and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable law.
3. The service
CSE Whiteboard provides realtime drawing, text, sticky notes, images, collaboration and private saved-board features. Features may change, be limited or be discontinued as the service develops.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use CSE Whiteboard to:
- Upload or share unlawful, abusive, threatening or harmful content.
- Harass others or violate their privacy or intellectual-property rights.
- Distribute malware, malicious links or deceptive material.
- Attempt to bypass permissions, interfere with multiplayer sessions, overload the service or access another user's saved boards.
- Use the service in a manner that violates Discord's terms or policies.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant the operator a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and maintain the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share your content.
6. Shared-session controls
The first participant in a session may receive owner controls. Actions such as loading a board or clearing shared content may require that owner's approval. These controls support collaboration but do not make the operator responsible for participant decisions or content.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the service processes, why it is used, how long it is retained and how to request access or deletion.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an evolving and availability-dependent basis. We may perform maintenance, enforce technical limits, remove unsafe content or suspend features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or permanent retention of live room content.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, respond to security threats or address material violations of these Terms or Discord policies.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CSE Whiteboard is provided “as is” and “as available.” The operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, participant-created content, Discord outages or loss caused by events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws and regulations in Palestine, including those administered under the Palestinian National Authority. Mandatory rights available under another applicable law remain unaffected.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material revisions will be reflected in the effective date above.

1. الموافقة على الشروط
تنظّم هذه الشروط استخدامك لسبورة CSE، وهي نشاط تعاوني يعمل داخل ديسكورد. باستخدام الخدمة فإنك توافق على هذه الشروط وسياسة الخصوصية. وتشغّل الخدمة نادي CSE – جامعة فلسطين التقنية خضوري.
2. الأهلية
يمكنك استخدام سبورة CSE فقط إذا كنت مؤهلًا لاستخدام ديسكورد، ولديك صلاحية الموافقة على هذه الشروط، ولا يمنعك القانون المطبق من استخدام الخدمة.
3. الخدمة
توفر سبورة CSE الرسم والنصوص والملاحظات اللاصقة والصور والتعاون الفوري واللوحات الخاصة المحفوظة. قد تتغير الميزات أو تُقيّد أو تتوقف مع تطور الخدمة.
4. الاستخدام المقبول
يُمنع استخدام سبورة CSE من أجل:
- رفع أو مشاركة محتوى غير قانوني أو مسيء أو مهدد أو ضار.
- مضايقة الآخرين أو انتهاك خصوصيتهم أو حقوق الملكية الفكرية.
- نشر البرمجيات الضارة أو الروابط الخبيثة أو المواد المضللة.
- تجاوز الصلاحيات أو تعطيل الجلسات أو إغراق الخدمة بالطلبات أو الوصول إلى لوحات مستخدم آخر.
- استخدام الخدمة بما يخالف شروط ديسكورد أو سياساته.
5. المحتوى الخاص بك
تحتفظ بملكية المحتوى الذي تنشئه أو ترفعه. وتمنح الجهة المشغّلة إذنًا محدودًا وغير حصري لاستضافة هذا المحتوى ومعالجته ونسخه ونقله بالقدر اللازم لتقديم الخدمة وتأمينها وصيانتها. وأنت مسؤول عن امتلاك الحق في رفع المحتوى ومشاركته.
6. صلاحيات الجلسة المشتركة
قد يحصل أول مشارك في الجلسة على صلاحيات المالك. وقد تتطلب إجراءات مثل تحميل لوحة أو مسح المحتوى المشترك موافقته. تساعد هذه الصلاحيات على التعاون، لكنها لا تجعل الجهة المشغّلة مسؤولة عن قرارات المشاركين أو محتواهم.
7. الخصوصية
توضح سياسة الخصوصية المعلومات التي تعالجها الخدمة وأسباب استخدامها ومدة الاحتفاظ بها وكيفية طلب الوصول أو الحذف.
8. التوفر والتعديلات
تُقدّم الخدمة بصورتها المتطورة وحسب توفرها. قد نجري صيانة أو نفرض حدودًا تقنية أو نحذف محتوى غير آمن أو نوقف بعض الميزات. لا نضمن التشغيل المستمر الخالي من الأخطاء ولا الاحتفاظ الدائم بمحتوى الجلسة الحية.
9. التعليق وإنهاء الاستخدام
قد يُقيّد الوصول أو يُنهى عند الضرورة المعقولة لحماية المستخدمين أو الامتثال للقانون أو التعامل مع تهديدات أمنية أو مخالفات جوهرية لهذه الشروط أو سياسات ديسكورد.
10. إخلاء المسؤولية وحدودها
إلى أقصى حد يسمح به القانون، تُقدّم سبورة CSE «كما هي» و«حسب توفرها». لا تتحمل الجهة المشغّلة مسؤولية الخسائر غير المباشرة أو التبعية أو محتوى المشاركين أو انقطاع ديسكورد أو الأحداث الخارجة عن السيطرة المعقولة. ولا تستبعد هذه الشروط أي حقوق أو مسؤوليات لا يسمح القانون باستبعادها.
11. القانون الحاكم
تخضع هذه الشروط للقوانين والأنظمة المطبقة في فلسطين، بما فيها ما يُدار ضمن إطار السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية، مع بقاء الحقوق الإلزامية المقررة بموجب أي قانون آخر واجب التطبيق.
12. تعديل الشروط
قد نحدّث هذه الشروط عند تغير الخدمة أو المتطلبات القانونية. يُعد استمرار الاستخدام بعد سريان الشروط المحدثة موافقة عليها حيث يسمح القانون، وسيظهر أي تعديل جوهري في تاريخ السريان أعلى الصفحة.
